Palantier is up double digits pre-market after Q4 results topped expectations.

A court refuses to dismiss a lawsuit in Georgia against Bayer, and the tech industry announced even more

layoffs on Monday adding to the growing list. Palantir technology surged

more than 13% in extended hours trading on Monday after the enterprise software company reported fourth quarter results that topped expectations.

Pre-market Palantir is up more than 19%. For the period ending December 31st

the company earned 8 cents per share on 608.35 million dollars.

Compared to the Wall Street estimate of $8.102.88 million in revenue.

The company said U.S. commercial revenue during the period rose 70% year over a year to $131 million while the

customer account grew 55% over the same time frame. Total commercial

contract value during the period rose 107 percent year over year to

$343 million.

The company issued a mixed bag of guidance, however, as it sees first quarter revenue below expectations

but full year above estimates.

For the coming quarter it expects sales between 612 and 616 million dollars that's below the

617.44 million dollars that analysts expect.

For the full year revenue is forecast to be between 2.652 billion and 2.66 billion dollars,

above the 2.64 billion dollar consensus.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals refused to dismiss a Georgia doctor's lawsuit claiming that Bayer's round up weed killer cost cancer.

Reaching the same conclusion as several other appeals courts in similar lawsuits.
