The roots of this modern rivalry go back to the 1947 partition, but this year those

strains reached a fever pitch. After a terrorist attack in Kashmir, in April left 25 Indians dead.

India and Pakistan engaged in military strikes that escalated rapidly. Luckily, they were able

to reach a ceasefire just days later.

Still, nerves are on edge in both Delhi and Islamabad.

My guest today, by no means an objective voice on the conflict, but she is an important one.

Hina Kar served as Pakistan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in 2022 and Foreign Minister in 2011.

And as you'll hear, she doesn't mince words when it comes to what she calls Pakistan's belligerent neighbor.
