I was, gotta be honest, I thought we were gonna get a paintbrush trophy added to the collection headed into the weekend you were

hitting it great you're rolling it great solid week at the Valspar.

Yeah it felt like of my week kind of the ball just kept going in but Sam played like unreal even

Sunday I don't think people could tell how hard it was on Sunday the pins were

trickier the wind was trickierier, and he just never blinked.

So I did not get the paint can, which is okay. I'm not much of a painter.

I don't like snakes, so the trophy looked a little intimidating.

But it was a cool week, you know, the fans were rowdy.

It was fun to be in the mix for what felt like the entire week and probably some of the best golf for four days I've ever played so that was fun. It's a good golf course and yeah I actually like now that I've played well there and kind of get it better.

I look forward to playing there again.

Yeah, I was, you know, we reposted kind of the audio you had about talking with Joe about

adding this to the schedule, you know, and you just basically looking at the scoring around what typically wins at the Valspar.

We know I was diving in, you'd had three missed cuts in your three previous starts.

You had one in 2019 and then back earlier when you're

kind of struggling a bit with your golf game. But it's it's when you've

signed up for it you're in the field you're in the featured groups you played

well on Thursday I kept looking at it thinking why

wouldn't Max play here all the time? It's you know it's like totally the golf
