Have you ever noticed how physical pain fluctuates throughout the day, but usually gets

way more intense at night? For years we thought this was just

circadian rhythms which is basically our sleep cycles. During the night our bodies

are more relaxed and during the day we're more alert and these rhythms can influence how intensely we

feel pain based on the time of day we feel it. Okay that doesn't make sense though
