Our cases this week, a treasured and much-loved family dog is killed and then torn

limb by limb by a disgruntled neighbor, the black lab named Bear inadvertently wandered onto a

neighbor's property and the neighbor was angry. Police found the dog in pieces, the head chopped

off everything in a box hidden in that neighbor's barn. Now the killer who pleaded guilty to a felony

count of killing and torturing of an animal will serve a mere 60 days behind bars. Even the judge

said to the family and the community that packed the courtroom for this one, that the killer was

given the maximum penalty under the law, but the judge said, it's not enough. So what is justice

when the maximum penalty doesn't feel like it's enough? But first, you know when that pretty

college cheerleader area is the gorgeous football player life is supposed to be perfect. That is

until it's not. Boy is this fairy tale gone off the rails. A former pageant queen is accused of

trying to have her husband killed. The reason for the murder for higher pot say police, the wife

was having an affair. The wife was having the affair and the husband found out and wanted a divorce.

She didn't like that. They were in a custody battle. So rather than just saying, hey, I'm sorry,

let's go to counseling. Police say she opted to have him killed while on vacation in the Bahamas.
