Summary

Gary and Kelly Miracle were living a very typical life when Gary suddenly became sick. He was admitted to the hospital, his kidneys began to fail, and he fell into septic shock. In a matter of days, life as they knew it changed forever. Gary is the inspiration for Mercy Me's song, "Say I Won't.

I'm a big fan of stories. I was doing the math. I think I've done maybe 100 interviews so far for this podcast. But the story is special. This is the first time I've gotten on a plane and flew somewhere just to hear their story. And it is absolutely worth it. I headed to Orlando for page 81 of the unfolding. They were busy with kids, sports, church. Life was normal. That's when Gary got sick and in a matter of

Tell me a little bit about what your life was like before all this happened.

So we had a pretty basic life.

We have four kids, ages six all the way up to 17 years old. And our life was

really revolved around them because they're kind of in the thick of school and sports and

doing everything that normal kids do in Florida and good weather. And I can't say that there

was actually too, too much about it.

I worked full time. I was a salesman. I worked for Cox Automotive. I was the territory sales

representative for Auto Trader and Kelly Blue Book. So I worked with a ton of the car dealerships in the

area. So I had the ability to work from home. I was here here with all uh kelly and the kids most of the time
