I'm a big fan of stories. I was doing the math. I think I've done maybe 100 interviews so far for this podcast. But the story is special. This is the first time I've gotten on a plane and flew somewhere just to hear their story. And it is absolutely worth it. I headed to Orlando for page 81 of the unfolding. It's the story of Gary and Kelly

Miracle. I was so scared and everybody was telling me he's not going to make it. And I remember at one

point a doctor came in and they told me, you know, you need to get ready to say goodbye. And I told

him like, you don't know. Like you have to stop telling me that. You don't know.

God's story has been unfolding. Since the beginning of time. He invites you to be a part of it.

Hi, this is Meredith Foster.

What happens when you lose life as you knew it? When something changes so radically that life will

never be the same again. In December 2019, Gary and Kelly Miracle were living pretty typical lives.

They were busy with kids, sports, church. Life was normal. That's when Gary got sick and in a matter of

days, their lives changed forever.

There are parts of Gary's story that are pretty graphic, so just be advised if you have

younger listeners.

Tell me a little bit about what your life was like before all this happened.

So we had a pretty basic life.

We have four kids, ages six all the way up to 17 years old. And our life was

really revolved around them because they're kind of in the thick of school and sports and

doing everything that normal kids do in Florida and good weather. And I can't say that there

was actually too, too much about it.

I worked full time. I was a salesman. I worked for Cox Automotive. I was the territory sales

representative for Auto Trader and Kelly Blue Book. So I worked with a ton of the car dealerships in the

area. So I had the ability to work from home. I was here here with all uh kelly and the kids most of the time
