The process of adoption can sometimes feel like a wild ride.

The waiting and hoping can be both exhilarating and anxiety-inducing. Justie Hudson had grown up in church and she'd always had faith in God. So when she and her husband struggled with

infertility, she naturally turned to God for help. She signed up to work in the nursery at church

thinking, maybe if I do this for God, he will surely grant our wish to have a

baby. But their journey was going to be much more complex and at times brutally disappointing.

It would stretch her faith farther than she'd ever trusted God before.

Me and my husband got married in May of 2012. We had decided to wait a couple years and just kind of be married. He was also in grad school at the same time. And we had actually talked about if we had issues getting pregnant that we would not pursue IVF and that we would do adoption. Did you have any indication that you might have issues?

No.

No, it was just kind of a, we'll do that.

But in the back of my mind, I thought, I'm not going to have issues.

But if it came to it, that's what we would do.

So the last couple months of his program, he was about to be done as a really intense nursing program to become a certified
