It's easy to trust the hand of God when your life is going well.

It's a whole other thing to trust him when everything has been shaken to the core.

When Tammy married Trent Linderink, it seemed like nothing but blue skies

and exciting adventures ahead. But when unexpected tragedy struck, Tammy had to choose, would she run

toward God or away? So I met this guy in my youth group when I was 15 years old, had gone to a very charismatic church.

And I remember, you know, lifting up our hands on worshiping the Lord and this one particular

Wednesday night, being in my youth group and we're worshiping God. And in came walking in three

super good looking guys. And I think my hand went higher. I think I said a hallelujah,

you know, 300 times louder than I never said before. I was so excited. I've never seen these guys

before. And they walked in, they started lifting up their hands also worshiping God. And I thought,

wow, like I have got to meet these guys. And I did and found out the youngest brother of the three was my

age. And I was just shy of my 16th birthday by about a month. I wasn't allowed to date till I was 16.

So when I turned 16, this Prince Charming called me and we went on a date. And honestly, it was some of the funnest

times of my life when I look back at my teenage years. And this was a young guy that was new to

faith. He loved life. He was bigger than life. He was so much fun. And we were so, so active. They
