I went through a whole lot of faith struggle because I knew that God had sent me to Wisconsin

and I thought, if you sent me here, then why am I in this valley?

And frankly, when we heard about Riley's issue, I thought, here we go again.

We're going through the valley.

God's story has been unfolding.

Since the beginning of time. He invites you to be a part of it.

Hi, this is Meredith Foster.

Why would God intentionally send you to a place of hardship?

Suzanne Haps had already been through a really tough season in life, and as far as she could tell, God had led her to that place. And he'd used it to help her learn to trust him, which turned out to be exactly

what she would need as her family faced a challenge so big, only God could meet it. So you had just

come through a really difficult season in your life. That is absolutely correct.

We made a move from South Dakota to Wisconsin. It was an inter-network move. So I went for a job,

but my husband left his job and went to Wisconsin. But it was a bad part of the economy and it took him a year and a half to find a job.

So we went through a year and a half of him not having a job.

We still had a house in South Dakota that we couldn't sell because it was part of that whole, the housing market crash thing.

My children were doing fairly well but

then one of them like one of the school counselors called and said um so yeah we did a suicidal just kind

of checklist thing and your son checked yes to all of them and so we were going through all of this

turmoil in in these. And we had just come on the other

side of that. Everything was good. My husband had a great job. We had gone through family
