all of a sudden it rose upon me with this great hope of, I'm going home.

When Jesus was hanging on the cross, the book of Luke records a conversation he had with a thief hanging next to him.

The thief said, remember me when you come into your kingdom. And Jesus replied, today, you will be with me in paradise. It's a verse that brings hope,

especially when you're mourning the loss of a loved one. We try our best to imagine what heaven is

going to be like. According to the Pew Research Center, more than 70% of us believe in heaven,

but what we know about it, it's very limited. What if you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt

that heaven is real and you could spend eternity with Jesus, if you could see it with your

own eyes, would that change you? Dean Braxton was a normal guy living a pretty normal life

when he had an out-of-this-world experience that changed him forever.

At the time of this, I was living in the Washington State area. I was a supervisor, probation

officers for the juvenile system, and I ran two of the most viewed courts in the sense that I

was in charge of making sure that they ran correctly

and that everything that the judges wanted was taken care of. And we had a very successful one

in the Seattle area. So I was at the top probably of my field. I was very recognized throughout

the United States. So that's where I was. I also on the side, and it was on the side, I was a pastor of a small

church that met in our home. And so I been a Christian for a number of years, but it wasn't something
