When you're going through experiences that are painful beyond words, do you ever wonder how to pray?

Rachel Wojo understands what it's like to pray without receiving the answers you're longing for. Five years into her marriage, she learned her pastor, husband, had been having a long-term affair. Then she learned

her daughter had a devastating diagnosis that would likely cut her life short. In these anguished

moments, Rachel's faith shifted. She was changed from a girl who checked boxes

of religious activity to one who was desperately crying for help from a God who hears. And the

answer she received were even greater than what she hoped for. The week I was born, my parents took me as a small baby to church the very next Sunday. So I grew up with parents who knew the Lord. They were first generation Christians who were really established in their faith. Both of them came from kind of broken backgrounds. And so they were learning as they went.

They just knew that being a part of church was so important.

I came to know Jesus on my own and my personal heart and quiet time with the Lord.

I knew that I wanted to make it public.

So I was sitting in the back of the church

one Sunday in the summer. I had just turned six and the pastor was about to give the invitation.
