Why would God allow this? Why didn't God intervene? Why didn't he answer our prayers?

Andrea Mercer is very familiar with the why God question. After years of infertility,

Andrea and her husband experienced the joy of getting pregnant and then giving birth to their son Gabriel. Then they began to notice that

Gabriel's development was delayed. He was eventually diagnosed with autism and a rare genetic

condition that gradually robs his abilities. It was heart-crushing.

And yet, Andrea has come to a place of deep, deep intimacy with God.

So I grew up in a Christian home and had a grandma and a grandpa that loved us.

And I remember when my grandma, at Christmas, she would actually bake a cake for Jesus.

And she would gather all the grandkids around.

And we would sing happy birthday to Jesus.
