Stephen McWhorter grew up watching his traveling evangelist dad live a double life.

He'd preach in public and then abused Stephen's mom at home.

Eventually, Stephen wanted nothing to do with God or church.

His anger led to rebellion and then 11 years of addiction. But one night, in a

miraculous encounter, Stephen experienced the voice and presence and love of God, and he's never

been the same. Today, Stephen is a worship leader and songwriter who's seen nearly 40,000 people

come to Jesus on TikTok, Facebook,

and Instagram live, and thousands more as he travels and shares the gospel.

I grew up with a dad who was a traveling evangelist, and we would literally go from church

camp to church camp all over the United States.

That was my childhood.
