Hi, this is Meredith Foster.

Nikki Davis discovered her passion for hip-hop radio when she was in college.

She was good at it.

She loved it, and she couldn't imagine ever doing anything else.

But a series of failed relationships and jobs that just didn't satisfy made it clear. She was longing for more. And then she

started growing in her relationship with Jesus. Her life and priorities changed. And Nikki realized

she couldn't stay in a job where she was promoting negative things. But how could she walk away

from the safety and security of a job that she once thought

she would do for the rest of her life? So as a kid, I was very much in church. I was in the choir.

I was on the usher board. I was a volunteer at the Christian help center. And my mother had me

in dance class from the time I was about five to maybe 17
