And that was my spiritual pride.

I'm more spiritual than everyone else.

And that was super displeasing to God.

When Dave Munson graduated from Bible College, he was sure of one thing. The most

spiritual thing he could do was full-time ministry. And then God took Dave to Mexico as a missionary,

and that's where he purchased the leather bag that God used to change everything, including Dave's

pride-filled heart. Dave is the founder of Saddleback Leather Company,

whose goal is to love people around the world by making excessively high-quality leather bags.

How does a prideful missionary become a humble but super successful CEO? That is Dave Munson's story. I was born into a Christian home. My dad was a pastor

when I was born. He was in Bible college when I was born. And then he became a pastor. And so I kind of just

grew up, man, being passed around the church. And then when I was about in kindergarten, and my mom explained the

great story to me about, you know, how God himself came to earth, became banned, and he paid for

my sin, so I wouldn't have to pay for them. And then God erased him from the dead. She explained
