Hey, this is Meredith Foster.

As I've grown older, one of the experiences that seems almost universal is the challenge to believe what God says about us is actually true. Because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, we are

enough. We're loved, exactly as we are. For many, it's a struggle to believe that. Insecurity runs so

deep that even the most impressive forms of success can't bridge that gap in our hearts.

Mike Weaver is a songwriter and lead singer of the band Big Daddy Weave.

They have seen amazing success in an industry where artists are often one album and done.

They've been releasing music for more than 20 years. They've collected multiple

nominations and awards and gold and platinum records. They've toured and performed across the

U.S. and beyond. But all of that affirmation wasn't enough to silence the inner critic. For Mike

Weaver, he was never enough. I was so blessed to have a family that just was in pursuit

of the Lord. My dad specifically, and I know a lot of people, they can't necessarily say that

about their dad. And I feel like even in our society, sometimes that's the missing figure sometimes,

is that that dad in the house who is like leading the family in a pursuit of Jesus.
