Hi, this is Meredith Foster. Someone once wrote to Billy Graham and asked a question that I think many of us could have asked. They said something along the lines of, look, I know angels are part of

history. They're all throughout the Bible. But are they still active? Are angels working around us

today? Reverend Graham's answer was very straightforward.

Yes, he said. He talked about how the Bible makes it clear that God's angels are still very much at

work, but he acknowledged that many times we're totally unaware. Much of what God sends angels to do

goes unseen. In fact, they might be working right in front of us,

and we don't recognize it. In the Bible, angels delivered messages, like when Gabriel gave Mary the news

that she would give birth to the Messiah. Sometimes angels ministered when someone was hurt or in need,

like when the angels tended to Jesus in the

desert. And sometimes God used angels to guard and protect people. Well, today, we're going to hear

stories of angels doing all of these things, but in our lifetime. By the way, if you love these
