Jack Cassidy comes from a long line of talented entertainers, starting with his grandmother, Oscar-winning

actress Shirley Jones, and including his uncle, David Cassidy, maybe you remember the Partridge

family, and another uncle, Sean Cassidy, who was also a teen idol and continues to work in television

today. Talent overflows in this family, and that includes Jack. He's a singer and

songwriter, but unlike the rest of his family, his passion is to sing about the power of God's

love, because Jack has experienced it firsthand. Growing up in a famous family had its privileges,

but fame didn't protect Jack from struggles, including dealing with

depression and an addiction that nearly took his life. I grew up in the Cassidy family.

I just come from a very talented musical background. Growing up in that family, it was in Los Angeles,

and that can be a crazy world for a Christian to navigate
