know about me the aim of the podcast well title gives it away really i'm here to talk off the stories of film and I tend to talk about development stories, marketing

stories, production stories, release stories, all the bits and bobs really that go to make the films

that we know and love, just that the films that we know and sometimes love. Now the films I tend to

cover on this podcast, have more of a mainstream leaning to them than anything else.

There's certainly films I'm interested in or invested in to some degree. I try not to punch down.

I try not to do snob. I'm just here to celebrate cinema. The fact that it exists, the fact that films are really difficult to make and I love the fact that people manage to make them.

Without further ado in preamble, I'm going to get on with the first of the two films I'm talking about in this episode of film stories, and it'd be fair to say, this one, is pretty much a modern classic.
