We appreciate you spending some time. And we're going to get right down to business. We're going to talk about waiver wire ads for week 11. We'll do that a little later in the show. First, we've got to go over the injuries. And I've said it before, but more than ever, doesn't it just feel like we're trying to survive this season? I mean, all the injuries, all the bizarre outcomes.

We had another pack of weird upsets this week.

Adam Schefter tweeted it out today.

But it was the second straight week where four teams that were under 500 beat clubs that were in first place.

And this week it was the dolphins beat and the Ravens back on Thursday.

It was the Panthers over the Cardinals, the Vikings handling the Chargers. And then obviously Washington kind of stunning the Buccaneers on Sunday. So it turns out all that work that we're doing to project, it's still pretty tough to predict the outcome of NFL games. Who knew that that was the case, right right but that's why we can't get cocky

here no matter how good your team is we can't assume that every projection is going to be accurate

i get a lot of questions where people are saying well i'm the underdog this week i'm the favorite

this week don't just rely on those projections on whatever site because you know more times than not

those are going to be wrong what we're trying to do here is we

want to put ourselves in the best possible position looking at our teams not worrying

about what the numbers say as far as projections on a particular cycle we want to

make some smart decisions pick up the right players set our lineups properly and then

over time we're gonna get a lot more right than we get wrong and we put our

teams in the best position week after week and then you just got to hope that you get a lot more right than we get wrong. And we put our teams in the best position week after week.

And then you just got to hope that you get a little injury luck on top of that.

And normally with those kind of things all working together, that's enough to keep you in contention year after year.

But the injury aspect, fantasy football wise, it cannot be overlooked.

It's had such a huge impact on weekly outcomes really on

season long outcomes every single year the injuries take a huge toll and I mean if
