We knew going into the game that you better win the ball.

And we had the two turnovers that one of them certainly led to points.

The other one, we busted protection.

And as we're driving in the second half and coughed it up there. And then at the end of the game,

that's squarely on me, just got caught in a situation where we're planning on going for it.

And they felt like Brandon could make that field goal. And hindsight's 2020. I wish I wouldn't

take them the time out because it gave them obviously way too much time to go down and operate. So like I told the team, I mean, that's on me. That can't happen. So it's just we got to wipe this as soon as possible. It's a new season now. It's everybody's zero and zero. We knew we were going to have to go on the road, so we're going to have to go on the road to Philly, and we'll figure out what day we play, and we'll have a plan in place. we had something going you know with some of the no huddle stuff just pounding the ball in there they were in

three week we didn't get the um um seed a motion across so we were kind of out leveraged there and then we lost

yardage so um wasn't anticipating that but that's that was the

circumstance and that's why i called the time out because we went backwards um you know because

i was planning on going for it right there wouldn't have gone back in and you're just holding out

as a precaution yeah he was he was good to go back in in fact we thought thought that there was a chance that he was going to have to go back in the game

because Malik got his thumb hit and he couldn't really feel it.

But I thought Malik went in there and I thought he played tough, man.

I thought he did a lot of good things.
