Click on the flippity flip. I didn't need Amelio to remind me to take the trash down. That was cool. We're learning. We're growing every day. So, all right, next thing. Paul Breddle tweeted this out. An earlier tweet he had, he put, quote, you've got to give him a lot of credit, said Halfley about Bullard playing both deep safety and in the slot, especially as a rookie.

And then Paul Breddle quote tweeted that and said, Halfley adds that Bullard is a, quote, key piece in where this defense can go.

So it's pretty cool that he's out there bragging on Javon Bullard and that versatility.

And I think his PFF grades are taking a little bit of a hit because he's having to play both positions. But it's awesome to see Kishon Nixon at the boundary and being somewhat effective. I was listening to Ryan's pot earlier today and he was talking about how Kishan, I think, has a better PFF grade on the boundary than he does in the slot. So play-to-player's strengths. It's absolutely huge. And again, it's early. It's going to take some time before we really know is Kishan, that dude that's a solid number two corner. Hopefully he continues to kind of step into that role. But the other thing with Javon Bullard, a lot of run stops, a lot of hustle plays.

I think that last game, next gen stats, had him charted for four hustle stops against the

Cardinals, right?

And that stuff's huge out of the slot because, again, when you're playing that slot,

you're a part of that rum fit, man.

It's almost, especially with the close, condensed, nasty splits that a lot of teams run, you're, you're basically playing like a box safety at that slot position. If you've got someone who's aggressive and not afraid to hit, and we know Bullard's not afraid to hit, I mean, go ask AJ Brown if he's afraid to hit. That dude, I think he must be able to feel that one from way of one. Yeah. So, and you got him lined up in that slot, just gradually keeping that eye on the quarterback in the back field.

It's huge.

It's absolutely huge.

I think also we talked a little bit last night about Eric Stokes Jr., his role kind of maybe being reduced a little bit gradually as the season progresses.

If we see that happen, I think we'll start to get our answer here with, you know,

guys' roles in our defense.

And that could explain why we talked about Bullard's tackle grade maybe slipping a little bit in the past few weeks.

Well, we've given him, you know, more

responsibility. And we've asked him to be more versatile back there. And so I can see certain aspects

of your game may be taking a hit as you're kind of getting your legs under you, you know, going from

playing, you know, deep third to now you're up in the slot pressed up against somebody. Or, you know,

you've got these various

responsibilities that are being thrown at you simultaneously depending on what package we're in
