I'm Nick Schmitz and joining me once again is the two-time ACL tear champion Jimmy Christensen.

Jimmy, welcome back to the show. It's been a handful of weeks since you and i have uh

have done this podcast together uh busy lives just uh you know once the super bowl ended um you know

in classic fashion you just decided that you were going to take three weeks off and then you know

come back and uh you know i was here working hard, right, in your absence. Um, so, uh, you know, I mean, you know,

one of us, you know, puts in the work. The other one just, uh, gets up and leaves when the season's

over. We get it. But, uh, welcome back, Jimmy. You forgot about the, you forgot about the two weekends in a row. You couldn't do it. So. Well, but, but that was because I was on vacation. Like, I was literally out of the state. Like, I mean, you were just like last weekend, like you have this thing called a family that I guess you just decided that you wanted to hang out with. The time before that, I was a work trip to a work trip to San Antonio. And then

we're back now, though. We're thriving. I have my, I have my little ACL rehabilitation

center on the couch right now ready to go. Legs elevated, got some ice on the knee.

We're bouncing back, dude. I'll be playing basketball next week who needs

yeah well so so for those of you listening jimmy uh thought that he was back in his late teens

and early 20s uh forgetting that he is a 35 year old man 31 oh 31 sorry my bad my bad 31 and what you just went a little too hard playing

basketball and you think you carry your ACL yeah I was running and I did not see a screen

and someone didn't say hey screens there and I hit, ran right into that screen. And then my knee

popped and down I went. Down I went. Solid. So you can, uh, so you can be like, uh, Kauai Leonard or, um,

uh, well, who's that guy, Embed, you know, just like, oh, too well, Embed. Yeah. Yeah, just, you know just like oh too l mb yeah yeah just you know like you're always

hurt and although you're not making quite nearly the amount of money that they are which is a travesty

for you yeah yeah it's a rough life you know they they do it for the money i do it for the love of the
