What's going on, Packer fans?

Welcome into another edition of the Packaday podcast.

I, of course, am one of your co-host, Matt Freilich, alongside me, as always, Eli Berkowitz,

as we break down the injury report going into the Week 11 game, Green Bay Packers,

head to MetLife to take on the New York Giants, noon kickoff, 1 p.m. Eastern out east in New York City.

Both teams, I guess at this point in the season, not too surprised Eli, banged up by injuries.

Packers seemingly a lot healthier than they have been.

As we know, going through these injury reports, definitely

will like to over-communicate their injuries and over-diagnose or over-report them.

But the Packers are in pretty decent shape, however, the Giants seemingly not only have

the head injuries throughout the season, had some pretty significant injuries over the last

couple weeks,

if not the last week, too.

So a lot to get to Eli injury related. I think let's start first with the Packers, though. Like I mentioned, they are a little bit healthier. They only have one designation that's out this week, that being Nate Hobbs, still bad on that knee injury, did not practice at all this week. but I think it's important to note that, you know, back-to-back weeks now the Packers are losing some cornerstones of their team.

One, obviously, being Tucker Kraft, as we didn't have really the chance to talk about last week outside of just the breakdown of the Packers' offense versus the Eagles defense.

But Elton Jenkins does go down, fractures a part of his lower leg ankle, whatever it may be.

Also seems like there was some structural damage there as well going under the knife to repair some sort of a ligament situation.

So potentially, you know, a lot of the conversation Monday night into Tuesday morning was, is that the last time we've seen Elton Jenkins play for the Packers? We don't have to really get too much into that today. Obviously, that'll be a conversation as we get later into the year or into the offseason. But back-to-back weeks, Packers lose, you know, one of those young pillars of their team and definitely their offense. So just, you know, as you kind of get deeper into the season, you know, most teams are going to have that, but it sucks that, you know, really never got to see Elton Jenkins even be solid at center, I think is a fair assessment to say on that obviously that offensive line has been under a ton of scrutiny this week, everyone trying to figure out what the problem is for the offense, whether it be Matt LaFloor, whether it be Jordan Love, whether it be the run game, offensive line, receivers dropping balls, having a, you know, a former receiver, then DB, now a receiver back in there. But all in all, you know, insult to injury as this offense was, you know, has been floundering, I would say, for the last month. Yeah, it's rough.

I mean, obviously, Elton, is such a big part of the team for so long.

And yes, you could say maybe the transition to center hasn't been as good as we'd hoped, but you never want to see a guy like that go down for likely the rest of the season.
