Thursday night football, the Green Bay Packers turn around four days later,

will host the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field later on tonight.

Yeah, you can't win them off. You don't win the first one, Jason. That's right. That's right.

And we talked about it. We talked about it with Sal, Palantoneo a couple weeks ago. And I don't

think it was too hyperbolic to say that this was as close to a must-win week-one game as you could get.

And the Packers understood the assignment and showed up ready to go and took it to the Detroit Lions.

We're quite a bit removed from that game.

But I do think that we should at least spend a few minutes talking about the first game of the season

and the impressive effort all around

by the Packers, all three phases.

They were in charge from start to finish.

And then, of course, we finally got to the debut of our brand new shiny toy, Michael Parsons,

in his first game as a Green Bay Packer.
