Welcome to another edition of the Pack-A-Day podcast.

An abnormal Saturday Game Day edition.

I am one of your co-host, Matt Freelick, alongside me is Janelle Mackie, Eli Berkovitz.

Guys, rarely do we get to preview a game.

We get the luxury of doing that, although it is a preseason game.

It's the first preseason game for the Packers and some excitement.

We are going to have some starters.

Jordan Love has been, you know, Matt LaFleur has said Jordan Love will play, albeit even with that injury he kind of had earlier this week, a little bit of a scare for most Packer fans and I guess the organization alike.

But most players are going to play for Matt LaFleur. And I feel like this is the first time in years where I've heard at least a Packers coach be so definitive like,

hey, yep, we're going to get the starters to play in the first, first game. And Eli, you kind of

mentioned before we hit recording, like most players are going to play that are the starters,

but a few guys that have came up with injuries throughout this, you know, the last week or two

that probably won't play. But are you surprised, Deli, that we're going to get so many starters playing in this game, or how do you kind of fall on that? I guess a little bit. I mean, I know

I think LaFloor has been a little more open to playing players during the preseason than say Mike

McCarthy was, but, you know, it was also kind of different. I felt like the last handful of years, Darren Rogers, it was like, all right, you know,

we're 15 years into, 10 years into this, we don't need to put them in the preseason.

And then it kind of extended to the top receivers, David Bakhtiari.
