It is cut-down day.

The Packers will trim their roster today from 90 to 53.

We call it the final 53 man roster. Often,

Brian Gutakunz, Ted Thompson, a lot of people point out. It really is just the initial

53 man roster and really a 69 man roster, nice, because of the practice squad spots,

the expanded practice squad and the new rules that they have. That has really been a positive change in the rules for the way that teams try to,

you know, assemble their rosters and put things together.
