Jeff Bliss is Pacific Watch.

0:02.6

The fires of Los Angeles.

0:04.9

Jeff, I'm looking immediately at the two big ones that we've talked about for days now.

0:10.4

The Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire.

0:12.7

Let's start with Eden because that's good news.

0:14.6

Where is it?

0:16.4

The Eden Fire, which is out in the Pasadena area, east of L.A., basically, is about 65% contained, and that's

0:24.4

fantastic news. They've really turned a corner there, and they think that they can knock most of it

1:12.4

is good.

1:13.3

It's not great.

1:15.4

1:19.7

recreation area has just so much fuel, and the topography is just so tough.

1:26.9

You know, there are a lot of places you can't get people in there to fight a fire,

1:30.4

even if you were to airlift them.

1:31.9

So some of those places, you can only fight it from the air,

1:34.9

or you have to go around the back of it and try to build a fire break to stop it.
