Summary

First, we catch up on the latest news and trade rumors around the league. Then, a look at the five teams in the Pacific Division. PHX: Is their season worth saving with a trade, and will their ownership situation allow it? LAL: Have you heard their 2027 and 2029 firsts are available? LAC: With limited assets, is there a move available that would do more than shuffle the deck chairs? GSW: What are their options to find a 5th closer at the 4 next to Draymond? SAC: Perhaps they’d like to go all-in to solidify their playoff squad for the next few years, but do they have the scratch?

First we got to get to some news that is piled up on us and then we'll talk the Pacific division.

0:09.6

At least some of the teams at the Trade Deadline. Let's get rolling here what we need to talk about.

0:13.9

Well, let's start with a team that is actually in the Pacific division that of course we'll get

0:18.1

that coverage later on and that's the Phoenix Suns. Encouraging news that Cam Johnson is going to

0:24.6

look like he's going to return on Thursday. He underwent surgery to remove part of his right

0:29.7

meniscus in early November. This is a fast return though not like not like incomprehensibly fast.

0:35.8

And for Cam Johnson, we talked about a long time when he got heard about which of the surgeries

0:41.0

would he have and some of it was going to be dictated by what they saw in the knee when they

0:46.1

went in. But for Johnson now, he has the opportunity to play the second half of the season.

0:51.9

Hopefully you can stay healthy and reestablish his value ahead of restricted regions.

0:56.1

Yeah, the Suns desperately need some of these returns. We haven't heard anything on the return

1:01.6

of Devon Booker. He's coming up now on three weeks out there talking about it minimum four weeks

1:06.9

for him, but just anybody else who can do something as a squirrel would really help Phoenix.

1:11.3

And this will be an interesting chance for Cam Johnson. Unfortunately, trying to jump back in into

1:17.2

a larger role than you had when you left coming off of the surgery is not an ideal situation to be in.

1:23.2

And hopefully Chris Paul possibly coming back against the nets could help them as well. And they've

1:28.9

just been so unbelievably injured where they've had these games with no point guard. We still have

1:33.9

campaign out. Obviously, Booker is out. Landry Shamit came back on Monday after he missed three

1:39.4

games with the sore right hip. So they've just been absolutely struggling and they got

1:43.4

completed destroyed by the grids in the third quarter on Martin Luther King Day. So yeah,

1:47.6

it would be great to see Cam Johnson back, but he'll surely be on the no back to back plan.
