Summary

(00:00-25:13) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing Tyrese Haliburton’s letter to fans and Rick Carlisle’s comment on the Fan Morning Show about his phone call last night with Tyrese. Jake shares what stood out when he read Haliburton’s letter and heard Carlisle’s conversation with Haliburton.

(25:13-33:06) – On the show yesterday, we had Ralph Reiff on the show to discuss the recovery timeline for Tyrese Haliburton and why he believes he will make a full recovery. Jake replays that portion of the conversation and provides his take on the timeline.

(33:06-45:13) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing the futures of Bennedict Mathurin, Johnny Furphy, and Jarace Walker.

(45:13-1:08:21) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins the show from New York City and starts his conversation with Jake discussing the ending of the Indiana Pacers season and some of the questions they have this offseason. Additionally, he accesses how Shane Steichen and Chris Ballard are viewing the “quarterback competition” between Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson. Holder also believes that Jones is on the fast track to starting week one and comments on what Richardson said about his latest shoulder injury.

(1:08:21-1:15:49) – Jake and Eddie discuss the news that Aaron Rodgers recently hinted at this upcoming season with the Pittsburgh Steelers is his final season of his career. It leads to Jake making a prediction.

(1:15:49-1:24:51) – The second hour of today’s show wraps up with Jake going down memory lane with the Indiana Pacers.

(1:24:51-1:48:31) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files makes his weekly appearance on Query & Company to discuss what the celebration was like in OKC on Sunday night with their appearing to be minimal fans in attendance at the parade. Scott also evaluates the future of Myles Turner, doesn’t envision this team making any substantial moves outside of the margins, and explains what the Pacers can do financially with Tyrese Haliburton set to miss the entire 2025-2026 season.

(1:48:31-1:59:51) – Jake offers some advice for Tyrese Haliburton as he begins his journey towards recovering from his ruptured achilles.

(1:59:51-2:10:05) – Today’s show closes out with Jake and Eddie discussing his plans after the show and JMV quizzing Jake on Reds trivia.
