Summary

(00:00-26:05) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the losses for the Indiana Hoosiers and Indiana Pacers. Jake focuses on both team’s inability to get their best players, Oumar Ballo and Tyrese Haliburton, involved. Additionally, Jake applauds Braden Smith for carrying Purdue when the team needed it after Trey Kaufman-Renn got in foul trouble in the first half.

(26:05-37:48) – James Boyd from The Athletic joins Query & Company to share his predictions for the guys that will make the NFL Hall of Fame tonight, evaluates if it makes sense for the Colts to make a trade for Myles Garrett, assesses if the Colts are starting to become forgotten about by free agents as a place to play, and examines whether the Colts are going to shift their style of play to lead to a better season.

(37:48-48:14) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie sharing their thoughts on the Super Bowl. They go through some of the exotic props that are being offered for the big game.

(48:14-1:12:27) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers and Forbes Sports joins Jake Query to preview the NBA Trade Deadline. Tony doesn’t envision the Pacers making any moves unless someone is willing to take James Wiseman’s contract, reacts to some of the trades that we have seen in the last 24 hours, and previews the final ninety minutes of the deadline by sharing what he expects to see.

(1:12:17-1:23:54) – There has been a lot of speculation and whispers on social media stating that Mike Woodson could be out as IU’s coach as early as today. Jake tries to track down the credibility of some of the whispers and admits that it would have to take an Elite Eight run just to reconsider Woodson’s future.

(1:23:54-1:35:15) – Hour number two concludes with Jake addressing Eddie’s question from the previous segment about the message it will send Dusty May if IU fans boo Mike Woodson when he is introduced on Saturday’s game against Michigan.

(1:35:15-1:59:53) – The Athletic’s Zak Keefer joins Jake Query to debate if Reggie Wayne and Adam Vinatieri will both be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame tonight. Additionally, Zak explains what the environment is like down in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, examines the Colts outlook in comparison to the two teams in the Super Bowl, and revisits the comments made about an anonymous player at the end of the season saying the franchise has no direction.

(1:59:53-2:11:52) –Jake asks Eddie to provide an update on the trades that have gone down in the NBA today with the deadline underneath an hour. Also, they examine what players and teams could be active in the final minutes of the deadline.

(2:11:52-2:25:29) – Today’s show ends with Jake and Eddie highlighting some of the final trades before the deadline and who the Pacers could trade to open up cap space and minutes for Jarace Walker.
