podcasts are going to be a little bit different. You know, we're not going to really be talking

about medical topics per se, but I'm going to be talking about the mental component that goes

along with studying medicine, the psychology, the mental barriers that affect so many people.

And really the basis behind this is I've been getting a lot of emails lately asking

about what happens if I fail to pants, What happens? You know, I fail the pants. Now what do I do? You know, I'm very stressed out. I have the pants coming up. And so a lot of this centered around, you know, people asking about pants, but I know there are other

mental barriers, I know there are other psychological factors that come into play

because I was there myself and you know I was surrounded by students that suffered these

exact same emotions and these things don't change you know you're not the you

you know you're not the first to feel this way and you know I really want to let you know that you're not the first to feel this way. And you know, I really want to let you know

that you're not alone.

And, you know, I did post, so a lot of this content

And really I asked the question, what's one mental emotional challenge that you struggle with

as you study medicine? You know we got a lot of

responses we got a lot of comments and there were a few comments scattered in there as

well that said you know it feels good to not be alone you know I'm glad there are other

people that are going through this and feeling the same way.

So really I wanted to address those concerns today and you know I'm probably going to extend this

into two or three podcasts just because I feel like it's a very very important subject subject. It's something that isn't spoken a lot about in school, to be honest with you.
