All right, so let's talk about acute renal failure.

Now, acute renal failure is the old term.

It's more commonly known as acute kidney injury

as of today.

And the definition is going to be an increase in

creatininin of 0.3 milligrams or an increase in 50% within the last 48 hours.

Now there are some organizations that have extended

So anywhere from 48 hours to a week is acceptable. However, I would probably use 48
