0:06.4	podcast and today I want to talk about antibiotics. So we're going to review a
0:11.6	little bit of pharmacology. We're going to go over the different
0:14.5	classes of antibiotics, a little bit of how they work, and some contraindications. Now when you study
0:21.8	pharmacology, there's one thing that is always 100% that will never change and that is contrandications.
0:28.0	So we really need to know these for each class.
0:31.0	Before we go ahead and get started, I wanted to go ahead and let you guys, I want to give you
0:35.8	you guys an update as to what's been going on.
0:38.8	And I created a YouTube channel.
0:41.3	And on the YouTube channel, I wanted to do things a little bit
0:43.6	differently. What I want to do there is I want to make it a little bit more
0:48.3	clinical. So there's always this disconnect between taking exams or reading textbooks and how things are actually practiced
0:55.6	in the clinical setting.
0:57.6	So I thought I'd create the YouTube channel and just post little five minute videos
1:01.9	and discuss either an interesting patient or discuss something
1:05.3	that I saw that day.
