Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of Sleep and Relax ASMR.

This episode we are reading the Wikipedia page for PG Woodhouse.

This is a series that we call ASM articles.

Basically we just pick a person place event, you name it.

And we learn about it together.

For some of you, you like to learn about these things.

I certainly like to learn about these different people places

events. For some of you it's so boring you just fall asleep so it's a win-win as far

as I'm concerned. So let's just jump into it.

Sir Pelham Granville Woodhouse was an English author and one of the most widely read humorous of the 20th century.

Born in Guildford, the son of a British magistrate based in Hong Kong, Woodhouse spent happy teenage years at Dulwich College,

to which he remained devoted all his life.

After leaving school he was employed by a bank but disliked the work and turned to writing

in his spare time.

His really novels were mostly school stories, but he later switched to comic fiction, creating

several regular characters who became familiar to the public over the years.

They include the Jolly Gentleman of Leisure Bertie Wooster

and his Seagious Valley Jeeves,

the Immaculate and Loccacious Smith, Smith, Lord Emsworth, and the Blandings Castle

set, the oldest member with stories about golf and Mr Moliner with tall tales on on subjects ranging from

Bibulus bishops to mega-lomaniac movie Mongols.
