What's up, my love? Welcome to the Divine Living podcast today. It is such a pleasure to be here with you for a topic that I know is so timely for pretty much all of us. You know, I think that we thought the pandemic was bad and we thought

politics were bad and we thought the polarity of injustices and differences of opinion and

all of that was bad. And you know what? It was a time of upset. It was a time of turmoil. It was a time of a lot of temptation to go into fear.

And then I thought, like, as we were getting out of the pandemic and we were going to, like, move on with our lives in these really big and vibrant ways, there was a lot of hope.

And right now in the community, and even to a degree in my own

heart, I don't see a lot of hope. I'm actually seeing a lot of want for hope, but I'm seeing

a lot of depression, a lot of anxiety, a lot of angst, a lot of the mountaintop high of getting through

this all isn't done yet. And specifically, I'm seeing it in the form of a lot of divorces, some

diagnoses, people being, you know, upheaval going on, people moving homes.

I'm one of those.

I'm staying at a friend's place in New York City right now while I'm looking for my next

spot.

And a lot of concern about what's going on in the future.
