You were a network engineer working at AT&T.

What made you decide to change it all up and go into decentralized finance in Africa and emerging markets?

I've been really focused on this narrative since 2015.

One of my uncles said, you need to build products for the people.

You don't really just build product for the government and it's essential. That's when I was like, I have to relocate to Africa.

You said that stable coins are just such a massive innovation.

I'm curious, why is that so important for what you're doing in Africa?

One of the challenges that we've seen is the US dollar shortage that are in banks.

You want to go and stand a hundred thousand dollars. That transaction might take one or two weeks, or it could take one or two months.

So when stable coins, it's instant settlement.

Simple and very effective as well.
