I'm your director of Funning Games for the evening.

Joining me live in the Xfinity Studio, it is Broad Street Hockey's own Kelly Hinkle.

Hinks, I am very much in they're not making the playoffs mode.

Yeah.

But I feel like we just needed this to lower the temperature a little bit.

A pallet cleanser.

Like we just needed a nice, solid victory from the Philadelphia Flyers for a number of reasons.

They had a six-game home losing streak.

They had lost the previous four games.

They haven't beaten an Eastern Conference opponent in 11 straight.

And I think, what, 13 out of 14 14 something like that um they just needed something

yeah to kind of remind everyone like they're not that bad like yeah I would like to see them

lose a whole bunch after the Olympic break get a top you know eight pick or whatever add another

blue chip prospect to this pool

and kind of go from there. Figure out where we are in the off season, hopefully make a couple

of nice trades, bring in a one or a two C, maybe a top four defensemen, a top payer defense,

all that stuff we talk about all the time. Yeah.

But for tonight, I just wanted to see a competent hockey team go out and play a game against

a team that's kind of in the same spot as them and that's what they did.
