J.B., we have hit the part of a eight-game winning streak here where we're critiquing how convincing Notre Dame's wins are.

They were a bit off today offensively, but that defense never rests.

No, the defense never rests.

And I'm not sure what's more misleading in the box score.

And there's a lot of coaches that would say box scores are for losers.

And as long as you win, I completely agree with that sentiment.

But for Notre Dame to have had 450 yards of total offense,

aside from Judarian Price flashing and Jeremiah Love being great the whole day,

it wasn't a lot to be satisfied about that offensive performance.

Conversely, Notre Dame defense absolutely dominant,

arguably its most dominant performance of the season,

and yet they allow 300 yards, again, almost 80 of that on a garbage time drive late in the

game as Notre Dame once again continued to get great valuable reps for its younger players

and even some walk-ons.

Just starting with the offense, they're stake with the ball at the 25-yard line because

of a Chris Tyree muff on the opening kickoff.

They were actually aided, though, by a third down roughing the password penalty.

That was either going to be a fourth down attempt from the four-yard line or a field

ball.
