Hey, what's going on? This is the starting on sub podcast. I am kind of your will plan

for today spring games spring games. Some more spring games. A lot to discuss. We're going

to try not to overreact. That's what we're going to focus on today. I don't want to

we stuff Connor. We're going to try not overreact the spring games. But as Josh

Pate said, you are allowed to react to some things that happen in spring games.

Chris Dory is going to join us in a bit. He was at not one, not two, but three spring

games. We're also going to talk dad bots in figuring out, which is just a terrible subject

I realize for a doring episode. That dad bod, he doesn't believe in that whatsoever.

So first, let's do overreaction or proper reaction. A new game I just made up that probably

a lot more people should be playing throughout the spring, at least playing in their head,

maybe playing in their group text where they're talking about this random guy who had two

catches in a spring game. And oh my god, this guy's going to be an all American. I love

how spring games are sort of a create your own narrative deal. No matter what plays

out, you can spin it any way that you see fitting. Like seriously, anyway, you could have

a team put up 500 points and somebody will be like, well, that counted against the deep.

That doesn't really count against the defense because they're without their outside linebacker.

Right. You can be old. Dim and white. I've done that before, but yeah, seriously. And I was saying

this to Lauren the other day, watching seven hours of spring games like I did on Saturday

and no big deal. I don't deserve an award. Maybe I do. Maybe I don't. I can let the people

decide that. But doing that on a given Saturday is weird to be in that headspace because I have

so many moments in this job where I think, well, I need to talk about that on Sunday or that's

going to be a thing now or wow, like didn't see that one coming. And it's so different to try
