There were major developments in Minneapolis overnight that could help deescalate the situation.  Just days after the killing of Alex Pretti, President Trump announced he's sending Border Czar Tom Homan to take over operations.  The change in leadership on the ground also came with a change in tone from the Trump, who said he had "productive" calls with Gov. Walz and Mayor Frey.  Soon after, Frey announced that the President agreed to start removing federal agents from Minneapolis.
