0:05.6	This is an opportunity to connect with Jesus and look beyond yourself for hope.
0:10.8	After this time that you connect with Jesus, I hope that your faith is built up.
0:16.2	If it's possible, can you go into a quiet place and position yourself to pray and thank God?
0:24.2	Ephesians 1 gives an overview of who God is and what he is doing in the earth. I would encourage
0:29.8	you to read in Ephesians 1. Specifically, Ephesians 1 through 10, these passages give perspective
0:35.2	about who God is, what he has done, and who we are.

0:47.3	And today we're going to do something a little different.
0:50.3	We're going to practice and focus on praise.
0:52.3	The two forms of prayer I want to focus on is praise and
0:56.4	declaration. The first one, praise, is a time to just thank God and honor him. Did you know your
1:04.5	prayer time can be just consumed with just thanking God? Praise and worship our quick avenues to
1:10.4	connect with the living God.
1:12.9	Another form of prayer is declaration where we get the opportunity to declare God's word
1:18.2	over our lives and to situations. We're going to take some time to declare God's word
1:24.7	over our lives. So let's open our hearts to practice praise and declaration right now.
1:32.3	The first thing I want us to take some time to praise God is this.
1:38.3	Coming from Ephesians 1, it says,
1:41.3	We thank God that we are loved by God, and Jesus was sent to the earth.
