It was so clear to us that there is a lot more that you all want to hear about this topic.

And so that's what today's show is all about.

We have some more conversations planned

for the new year, but here in the midst of a massive season of consumption, we wanted to get at

the root of the issue for each of us personally. What drives us to overconsume? What wears us out

about it? How is it affecting our personal lives? We're guessing a lot of you are in the same place

and hope this conversation between the two of us today

makes you feel a little less alone in this struggle. At the end of the show, outside of politics,

we're going to talk about some micro trends that they say are coming for all of us in 2025 and how we feel about those.
