Hello everyone welcome to episode 14 of Liberty before lipstick. Today I want to encourage you with a word some scripture and a beautiful story about Jesus.

When I was praying about what I should talk about in today's episode, I was reminded

of this beautiful poem that I had read about Jesus, and I didn't even know that today was National Day of Prayer.

I haven't been on social media that much. I've been working on a lot of projects

behind the scenes this week and I got on to Instagram just to check my messages and I saw that it was National Day of Prayer and I was like this is perfect and God really does have the best sense of humor because I was planning on talking about Jesus this whole episode anyways and it just so happens that it's National Day of

prayer and every day is National Day of prayer in this household and it should be

for all of us but I thought it was such a cool coincidence because I've been doing some episodes that I'm just

dedicating to lifting everyone up in scripture and encouragement from God.

But I love how God was directing me to talk about him in this episode and it just happens that National Day of Prayer is today.

So let's get right into it.

As I was praying, God put this poem on my heart to share with everyone today and it's called

Footprints in the sand and it's a poem but I consider it more of a little story.

I had heard this story last year and it's something that just always sticks in the back of my mind.

Footprints in the sand.

One night I dreamed a dream as I was walking along the beach with my lord.

Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.

For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,

one belonging to me and one to my lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
