verse 44. Jesus speaking to the liars of his day said,

you are of your father, the devil. And the lusts, that is, the desires of your father, ye will do.

That is, like father, like son. And then Jesus described Satan,

and I want you to listen to him. Jesus said of Satan, he was a murderer from the beginning

and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own,
