This week we’re excited to hear from Jillian Johnsrud as she shares with us how she became financially independent at the age of 32, despite her and her husband never making more than 60k a year. We cover how they paid cash for their first house, how they continue to save and invest with 5 kids at home, as well as the importance of their "quit list" as they seek to live an intentional and adventure filled life.

2:00.9	Joel, I am so excited that we're going to talk with Jillian today about her financial journey.
2:05.9	I'm starting below the poverty line and drowning in debt to pay in cash for her first house, investing in rental properties, and now being able to take off for months at a time to travel the country with her husband and five kids.
2:17.9	That's a lot of kids. Yeah. And what's super impressive is that she is able to do all of this without a massive income. She's never earned six figures.
2:25.9	Or honestly, she's never even had a salary even close to that.
2:29.9	Yeah, I think this is going to be an episode that speaks to a lot of people because most folks don't earn ridiculously high salaries. And so, yeah, what Jillian's been able to do with this huge family.
2:40.9	And at the same time with not a whole lot of income is really impressive. So this should be a really fun conversation.
2:47.9	Yes, it should. You know what else is fun that we do every week is we had a craft beer. So Joel, you want to introduce our beer this week?

3:02.9	So I'm looking forward to digging into this one, buddy. Yeah, man, me too. You know what's great about these big breweries picking up the style is that honestly, it's more affordable to have a beer like this in a style that we really like that we can enjoy that without breaking the bank.
3:15.9	Yeah. And honestly, a lot of the beers that we drink are kind of regionally available. And this is a beer that's going to be available in almost every state I would imagine.
