And today's podcast is inspired by the amazing carl and crew.

And I heard them talking two times this week when I was driving in

the car about discipleship. But specifically, the things with discipleship that get in the way of us

actually making disciples. And what I mean by that is shying away, because yes, it is scary, but also

shying away from specific buzzwords that maybe are uncomfortable for the person we are trying to

disciple. Now, I'm just going to let you in on a little bit of my life.

And this year is the first year that I decided that I wanted to disciple somebody. Actually,

it was my goal last year to find somebody in the summer that would be willing to be

disciples. Now, I found that person, Bella, if you're listening

to this, love you to death. And it is a complete learning curve. I'm just going to say that.

You know, I don't know. I've never been disciples by somebody. And so I was just like, you know,

I'm going to try to do this myself. And let me tell you, it ain't easy because you don't really know what you're doing

and the other person is there ready to listen to you and you almost feel like you don't have

your stuff together. Um, but this is when I feel like this radio show was really helping you figure

out the things that I was doing wrong or the things that I was

doing that were actually hindering the spirit from doing its work in my discipleship.

So basically what they talked about, oh boy, I'm getting in an accent.

I guess I just get into accents when I get excited about something, but here I am. Okay. So they were talking about specific
