We looked at a fence last week. Looking at comparison this week, this has been a cultural message for us since 2017.

The Lord has really highlighted this topic and I think it will be a great blessing to you,

just confronting brotherly cultures, sibling rivalries, the false measurements that we use,

that become motivations for us, and those motivations will get us off of fixing our eyes on Jesus and running the race that

he's allotted for each one of us. So may we live to hear those words well done, good and faithful

serving. My prayer is that this blesses you and frees you to be you as he designed you to be.

Last four days of the new year. Thank you. Two quick announcements, housekeeping things. One,

we're moving into the holiday season. I know we just prayed for Thanksgiving. We're going to celebrate Advent this year. So we're going to walk through all four weeks starting December 1st around Advent. The first week will be hope. Peter Lewis is going to take that. And I just talked to Rabbi Jason. Rabbi hasn't been here for quite a bit. and so he's coming in December as well.

Then we end the year, the final Sunday of the year.

We will not be in this room.

We will be at the convention center, which is just about a quarter of a mile north of here.

We have our end-of-year event where thousands of people from around the world will come along with our local family here. We call it end of year.

And it is an epic four days. So if you don't have plans, the end of the year, especially

New Year's Eve, join us. It's a great way to end one year and welcome in a new one. How many

of you have been to end of year before? All right. Well, talk to them about it. I'm certain. They'll give you a good endorsement for that event. It is a wonderful time. And then next weekend, Jimmy Cybert will be here. Jimmy is from Antioch Waco. Just has been a spiritual father in my life and to this church. And so I usually don't announce

different speakers, but I really wanted to highlight Jimmy next week. I think it's going to be a very

powerful Sunday. And so put that on your calendar. Last thing, December 8th is Advanced Day. We are

asking our upper room community here and our online world just to pray about giving end-of-year gifts

to our building campaign. Don't you love the new building? Yes and amen. This is phase one.

Phase two is more parking. And so it involves this building next door, which we own both sides
