You know, it's so easy for us to be aware of the problems in the world thanks to news and social media, but whenever we look at it, we can become overwhelmed and think what can we do about it or we may even become numb to the issues going on.

And as Christians, we care about a lot, but what we care about may not perfectly align with what God cares about.

And today our Senior Pastor Craig Rochelle will help us not only become aware but take action on the things that matter most in part two of Overcomer.

I am an Overcomer.

Hey, welcome everybody today at all of our churches across the United States on the other side of computer screens.

All over the world, I want to tell you that we're actually in part two of a four-part message series called Overcomer.

And as we ease into this, let me just tell you something I believe is going to happen.

This week, I've been praying very diligently that God would speak to a few of you in a way that would significantly impact your life.

And the reason I say a few is because I'm not naive enough to believe that everybody is going to be rocked by the message I'm about to share.

But I do honestly believe that there are some of you that you're going to hear from God in a way today that's going to awaken something on the inside of you and move you out of your comfort zone into a place of faith and impact you've never ever known before.

So just once you know, a few of you, be ready for this.

If it impacts you in this way and you want to let me know some way, it would mean a lot to me, but I've really, really been praying that it would speak to some of you in a really, really powerful way.

Let me introduce the message this way. We're talking about overcoming different things. I'll introduce it with a story that I'm not proud to tell, but it's the truth.

Let me give you context first. Sunday afternoon is hands down the most that my favorite time of the week always, always, always.

I'm going to say this is because the message is finished. My family is usually together and there's a little window between my work was complete for the week and Monday morning at 7.30am when it all starts over again.

And so for me, it's that, ah, okay, thankful is done. And there's this little window of I just, it's just, it's blessed.

So a few Sundays ago, I was actually in the afternoon and had some, it was a beautiful day and usually beautiful for the season.

And so I was sitting by my pool reading a book, just looking going, oh, life is so good right now.

A few minutes into it, I received a text from somebody that said, did you hear about the church bombings in Egypt?
