Summary

Four gay guys, having finally had it, go dark woke and throw neck in this episode of Las Culturistas, the sister podcast of the iconic StraightioLab. Its hosts, George Civeris and Sam Taggart, join Matt + Bowen to form a cornucopia of homosexual men who throw prayers up for Beyoncé’s highly anticipated Linkin Park era in a very “they would all be doing Best Week Ever back in the day” way. They clock each other on their social media, the times they’ve publicly cried at events, and original radical optimism opinions. How much do they love Audrey Hobert? It’s in here. Lady Gaga’s potential next film? Well-researched theories are explored. And there are games! Play Haim Lick and consider Lizzo’s Pass along with the crew at home, or wherever you listen to podcasts!  Watch George’s special A Sense of Urgency on Apple and Amazon, see Sam’s upcoming shows in LA on March 24th and April 1st, and stream Haim!

week at your birthday dinner. And then you said, I likely don't remember from being wine drunk.

0:27.7

Because we were. Excuse me. Is it a crime to be wine drunk at your... Matt, innocent.

Innocent? Matt innocent? Well, here... Print the shirts. This is an ear hit test. Ready?

1:27.8

Matt, you were wine drunk versus Matt, you were drunk. Wine drink sounds sweeter, more wholesome, more fun. Sounds like more like inoffensive. That's what I'm saying in the twelfth. Well, there's layers of misogyny. Thank God. Towards wine moms? Yes. Yes. Have you not seen the yelling blonde woman? You'll have to be more specific. She says, she says, no more IDF money in politics. Oh, oh, my gosh. She's had it. She has had it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She said, and I agree, that the title, wine mom is a bit misogynist. Are you talking about Jennifer Welch? Yes. Okay, great, great. Now go. Because there was notes of misogyny in that. She says, first of all, mentioning wine, notes of misogyny off the bat. Even ordering a wine. And the misogyny's in the legs, too. Cogyny's in the legs. Look at the legs on her.

1:46.3

Uh-oh. So wine, she said, you know, she's being called a wine mom, that's misogynistic. But then she also said the following, which I found very interesting. She said, but even though I know it's misogynistic, I think me pointing that out only alienates people because it makes them think they can't, like, say anything. You know, it sort of is promoting this kind of like language policing.

2:50.9

So she says, I know it's misogynistic, but it's okay. I'm not going to correct. That's like that's right. And that's dark woke. Dark woke. Dark woke. We're dark woke. Yeah, y'all dark woke. The four of us are very like that with gay. Totally. It's like that. We know it's homophobic, but we're not going to please. Let it fly. Let it fly. Grow up. Grow up. The way they drag our girl, Buttigieg. The way that they're out there dragging our president. No. We just let it slide. But know that in our group there were all, we all just, in parentheses, type to each other, holding y'all's hands today. Do you think if Buttigieg was on, I've Had It, the podcast? Is it she has had it? She would do amazingly well. It's I've had it. I've had it. And you called her the screaming blonde woman, which is its own note of massaging. I think that's more of a literal description. Which I wasn't willing to let's slide. I just want to say I'm on board with her. I'm deeply on board with her. Her voice is always at a pretty reasonable level. Now here's my challenge to her. What if the other co-host speaks?
